Another extremely satisfying episode. It sounds so corny but I literally laughed and cried at this one. Liza's vulnerability is so refreshing and relatable and funny and smart. I want more...of her and this show. TV EXECUTIVES WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!?!?!?!?
Here's what I love: First, I love my mom. Second, I love my apartment. (It's decorated REALLY well.) And third, I love "39 Second Single." And here's why: not only am I captivated every week with Liza and her dating escapades, but I'm loving meeting the people in her life. First it was Jamie, and now it's Chris. And I love that there are people in Liza's life that love her, care for her and look out for her. And you know what? WE DO TOO! This show is genius! HBO, are you listening?!?
This show (is it a show?) is fascinating...I feel like I want to be your dating coach, Liza. You are such an awesome person - I'm sure that if you are this honest in your offline life, you will find that puzzle piece.
OH MY GOD! I just saw you on the Today Show and hopped on your blog. Can't stop watching you. This is so funny and clever and touching. So glad I found you. Now, when will Mr. Right log on?
I just watched ALL EIGHTEEN EPISODES after seeing a piece on The Today Show. Where have I been? This is just amazing! I'm a new fan! Thanks Liza and Mary, I love this show!
But seriously, this is such a great episode - funny and brave, to revisit the past like that. Wish we got the Today show here, I'd love to have seen it. Put it on Youtube, someone!
Hi- I heard about your blog from The Today Show. And, I had to watch each episode one right after another. You are hilarious! I can't wait for the next episode! :-)
In the words of Celine Dion (who I'm sure didn't write the words) "I'm everything I am because you loved me." Love this blog. Love Chris, love Liza, love it all. This is such a great episode.
I came upon this after seeing Mary's funny standup set on funnyordie.com
I found this really funny and moving and I could have watched a lot more of it. It also makes me wish my "first love" wasn't such an a-hole and had been more like Chris!

Great title! How would that "let's go on a month-by-month lease" conversation go, anyway? Ugh.
